January 12, 2016—On North Korea’s H-Bomb—and Iran’s?

“I agree with the intel community that we assess that they [the North Koreans] have the ability, they have the weapons, and they have the ability to miniaturize those weapons, and they have the ability to put them on a rocket that can range the [U.S.] homeland.” ~ Adm. William Gortney, Northcom Commander, responsible for defending the United States from long-range missile attack, in an October 8, 2015 address to the Atlantic Council. Read Full Story

January 5, 2016—On Blackout Wars.

“. . . [T]he entire population of the United States could be at risk. There would be no food. No water. Communications, transportation, industry, business and finance — all of the critical infrastructures that support modern civilization and the lives of the American people would be paralyzed by collapse of the electric power grid. Millions could die. ~ William R. Graham and R. James Woolsey Read Full Story

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” ~ Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) . . . “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.” ~ Revelation 11:15 (KJV) Read Full Story

December 15, 2015—Big Week for Aegis BMD!

December 15, 2015—Big Week for Aegis BMD!

Last week two important ballistic missile defense (BMD) tests demonstrated significant improvements in the Navy’s Standard Missile that either is or will be deployed at sea on our and Japan’s Aegis BMD ships — and on land as the interceptor of the Aegis Ashore sites in Romania and Poland. These same interceptors also should be charged with defending Americans at home from ballistic missiles launched from off-shore vessels, especially in the Gulf of Mexico. Read Full Story

December 8, 2015—Maybe a Gray Swan?

December 8, 2015—Maybe a Gray Swan?

Yesterday was the 74th anniversary of the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, a classic “Black Swan” event in that it was unexpected but should have been, as concluded after the fact. Two years ago, I suggested we were courting another “surprise” attack that should be identified now and countered while there may still be time to prevent or defend against it. Two years have passed, the threat has grown and we seem to be beginning to address it—so, a “Gray” Swan? Will we respond in time? Read Full Story

December 1, 2015—Global Warming and the Grid.

December 1, 2015—Global Warming and the Grid.

“Billions of government dollars are being spent to subsidize so-called renewable power, mainly wind and solar . . . intrinsically intermittent, as clouds pass in front of the sun, and the wind comes and goes. In small doses the grid can handle intermittent power, but to accommodate a lot of this power, a new approach is being promoted: the so-called smart grid . . . centralizing control [and increasing] the vulnerability of the grid to terrorist hacking.” Norman Rogers, The American Thinker, November 21, 2015 Read Full Story

November 24, 2015—A Thanksgiving Lesson to Remember.

November 24, 2015—A Thanksgiving Lesson to Remember.

As we pause to give thanks for all our blessings, it is good to remember lessons learned from those who came before us, and to recommit ourselves to keeping this land free and prosperous for those who follow us. Memories give us a context for seeing and meeting our opportunities to leave this land better than we found it — with the help of the Sovereign of the Universe, so may it be . . . Read Full Story

November 17, 2015—Wake Up, America!

November 17, 2015—Wake Up, America!

President Obama has claimed that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a “JV Team” (January 27, 2014) that we are going to “degrade and ultimately destroy” (September 10, 2014), that is “now contained” … and “continues to shrink” (November 13, 2015), just hours before coordinated ISIS attacks in Paris, carried out at six sites, in at least two restaurants, the French national soccer stadium and a theater.

Contained? Really??? Delusional, to be generous!!!

November 10, 2015—Lest We Forget . . .

November 10, 2015—Lest We Forget . . .

Tomorrow, while enjoying a holiday in our busy lives, we should remember those who served — and in many cases who paid with their very lives — to give us this great nation that is our heritage. We should rededicate ourselves to keeping America true to its heritage for our posterity. So pause with me and remember . . . Never let us forget! Read Full Story
