Good Afternoon:
American Laws for American Courts (H 3521) will be heard and discussed in the House Judiciary Committee tomorrow, Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 2:30 PM, or 1.5 hours after the House adjourns.
H 3521 is common-sense legislation which protects South Carolinian’s individual, fundamental constitutional rights from foreign laws or legal doctrines where the application of those laws/doctrines would violate those constitution rights.
Each of the legislators in this committee need to hear from you and your like-minded friends that you want to protect constitutional law and prevent the implementation of any type of foreign law in our state. The House Judiciary Committee will decide whether H 3521 progresses to the floor of the House of Representatives. Now is the time we need to let the members of the committee know how much you support this bill!
Important and Time Sensitive Action Item:
This afternoon we need you to call and e-mail the following selected members of the House Judiciary Committee (and pass this request on to everyone you know in South Carolina!):

Please respectfully relay the following sentiments in your own words in a phone call and e-mail:
Dear Representative,
I urge you to support H3521, South Carolina’s American Laws for American Courts bill. This important piece of legislation has already passed in Tennessee, Louisiana, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida and North Carolina.
Further, I ask that you do what you can to move this bill through the legislative process and to the House floor for a vote.
H3521 is tremendously important to all South Carolina citizens, as it protects their constitutional rights from the incursion of foreign laws and foreign legal doctrines, if those laws infringe upon their state or federal fundamental constitutional rights.
We must maintain the authority of the South Carolina and U.S. Constitutions.
As a resident of South Carolina and as a voter, this bill is of the utmost importance to me!
Thank you again for your leadership on this vital matter.
Sincerely,
(Your name and city)
Thank you for your help in seeing this bill passed in South Carolina, so that your state can join the others that now have ALAC laws on the books.
